2006
Uplass Packaging was initially founded under the name '3A' by Tamer Alpergün in a small 30 m² warehouse at İstoç Trade Center, with a vision to provide innovative and reliable packaging solutions. The name ‘3A’ represents the initials of the founder’s three sons. (Alper ALPERGÜN, Artun ALPERGÜN, and Aras ALPERGÜN).
2007
This year, Uplass Ambalaj initiated its first production process by purchasing a second-hand Italian 3-station machine, and also carried out its first export.
2008
Uplass Ambalaj made its first investment in Extruder machine technology in order to increase its capacity and make a sustainable production. With this investment, production of PP-PS sheets has also commenced.
2011
This year, in order to increase its production capacity and product diversity, the company made its first investment in injection molding technology and relocated its production facility to a 3,000 m² site in the Beylikdüzü Industrial Zone. With the establishment of the UPLASS brand, it has strengthened its position as a prominent player in the aviation and passenger transportation sectors. Today, it continues to serve as a trusted solution partner to many leading airlines worldwide bY manufacturing in-flight equipment.
2020
This year, Uplass Ambalaj moved to a new facility in Arnavutköy, equipped with the latest technology, with a closed production area of 12,000 m2. The move has increased production capacity to 2,200 tons of blanks and 1,100 tons of finished products each month. In the same year, Uplass Packaging started the construction of its own factory with a closed area of 10,000 m2 in Malatya.
2021
Following a strategic decision made this year, Uplass Packaging relocated all its injection machines to the Malatya factory, which was completed in 2020 and spans 10,000 m². Today, Uplass Packaging continues its production activities at both facilities.
2023
This year, Uplass Packaging took a significant step towards sustainability by adopting renewable energy. With the investment in a Solar Power Plant (GES) at the Malatya factory, all electricity needs are now met from renewable energy sources, symbolizing our commitment to environmental responsibility.
2024
By the end of the year, Uplass Packaging relocated to a new logistics hub spanning 20,000 m². Uplass Packaging moved to a new logistics base of 20,000 m2 by the end of 2024. With this new warehouse, Uplass is able to make 6 loads at the same time and offers storage capacity for approximately 250 trucks and 12,000 pallets.
2025
With nearly 20 years of experience, Uplass Packaging has a monthly production capacity of 1,200 tons of finished products and 3,000 tons of sheets. Driven by the same passion and enthusiasm as on day one, the company continues to grow and produce by serving over 500 satisfied customers across more than 50 countries in five different categories.
